Delete your account
For APKreport: the Android app, on Google Play from Dizdarevic Ideas, and the website apkreport.com. The app and the site share one account, so deleting it deletes it for both. The button is called Erase my account; it works at once and cannot be undone.
In the app
- Open APKreport and tap your picture, or your initial, at the top right. Your profile opens.
- At the end of the profile, under Account, tap Erase my account.
- Read what goes and what stays, tap Erase my account, and confirm with Erase.
The app signs out and says what was deleted. Uninstalling the app does not delete the account, and deleting the account does not uninstall the app.
On the website
- Sign in at apkreport.com with the same account.
- Open the menu under your name at the top of the page and choose My profile.
- At the end of the page, under Erase the account, press Erase my account and confirm.
Without signing in
Lost the phone, or cannot sign in any more? Write to [email protected] from the address the account uses, and ask for the account to be deleted: that address is how we know the account is yours, so the request has to come from that mailbox - not through the contact form, where anyone can type any address. We delete the account and answer to that address within a month, usually within a few days.
If you pay for a plan, cancel it first, so that nothing more is charged: write to us under "Plans and prices", or to Paddle from the receipt it mailed you. Deleting the account ends its plan.
What is deleted, at once
- The account, here and at the sign-in provider (Google's Firebase Authentication).
- Your phones and their checks: the lists of their apps, and what changed between checks.
- The record of what you sent, and the files of the builds that only you sent.
- Your vault - the copies of your own apps kept on the site - and your links to reports.
- The record of the mail we sent you, and what you wrote through the contact form from that address.
- What you sent in confidence - on Team or Business, or for a team - goes with its report and files. What you sent for a team you are in stays with the team. A team that is yours ends with the account; its members keep their own accounts.
What is kept, and for how long
- Reports of the other builds stay on the site, with nothing that names you or your phone: a report is a fact about an app, not about you. A build's file stays only when someone else sent the same build.
- Backups and logs: the last database backup with your data in it is gone within 30 days, and so are the server logs - network addresses and the pages asked for.
- For one day: the sign-in provider's number for the account, not your address, so that a sign-in still open on a phone cannot make the account again.
- If you bought a plan: what the accounting law makes us keep about invoices, 10 years in Serbia. Paddle, which sold you the plan, keeps its own records under its own privacy policy.
- On your phone or computer: the backup files you saved stay where you put them. Uninstalling the app removes what it keeps on the phone.
What the site keeps and why is in the privacy policy; what else you can ask for is under Your rights. APKreport is run by Damir Dizdarević PR, Rade Kondića 24a, 11000 Belgrade, Serbia.
