Refund policy
Last changed 6 October 2026. When a paid plan is refunded, how to ask, and how the money comes back: what the terms of use say about refunds, on a page of its own.
The short version
Ask within 14 days of the charge. A period you paid for and did not use at all is refunded in full. A consumer who withdraws from a purchase within 14 days gets the price back, less the share of the period already used. Later periods are not refunded, unless it is we who ended the service or took away something your plan promised. You can cancel at any time, which stops the next charge.
What this covers
The paid plans on the pricing page: the 7-day pass, Pro, Team and Business, paid once, by the month or by the year. The free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. Paid plans are sold to you by our online reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record for all our orders, and a refund is paid through it.
A period you did not use
Paid for and not used at all: refunded in full, on request. A period you paid for and did not use at all is refunded when you ask within 14 days of the charge. This holds whether or not the law where you live gives you a right to withdraw, for a business as much as for a person.
Withdrawing within 14 days
A consumer may withdraw within 14 days of buying, and pays for what was used. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another place with a similar right, you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of making it. Because the plan is a digital service that starts at once, we ask for your agreement to start early when you pay; if you withdraw within the 14 days we refund the price less the share of the period already used.
After 14 days
Later periods are not refunded, except where it is we who ended or reduced the service.
- If we end the agreement ourselves, with 30 days' notice, we refund any unused part of a paid period (terms, section 12).
- If a change to the site removes something a paid plan promised, you may cancel and receive the unused part of the period back (terms, section 10).
Cancelling
Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not refund the period that is running. A paid plan renews for the same period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time: the plan stays on until the period you paid for ends, and nothing more is charged. The 7-day pass is paid once and does not renew.
How to ask
Write through the contact form, under "Plans and prices", or to Paddle from the receipt it mailed you. Say which account it is about - the e-mail address you sign in with - and which charge. You need not give a reason. A request sent within the 14 days is in time. The answer comes by e-mail, usually within a few days.
How the money comes back
To the payment method that was charged, within 14 days of your request. The refund is made through Paddle, which took the payment, to the card or account it came from, with the VAT that was charged. It is sent without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after your request reached us; when it shows on your statement is then up to your bank. With the refund the plan ends and the account returns to the free plan.
Your rights
Nothing on this page limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live. The page sets out what the terms of use say about refunds (sections 8, 10 and 12); the terms are the agreement, and should the two ever differ, the terms apply.
