Card payments open soon. Until then a plan is switched on by hand within a day of asking; nothing is charged before that.
Does what I send show up publicly?
An app from a store that you send adds to that app's public page: its score and a summary, without your name. Your report, your phones and your vault stay yours. On Team and Business nothing you send shows up on the public pages.
What is a full report, and what does every app show without one?
Every app you check shows its card: the score and its six axes, the names of its trackers and of its dangerous permissions, and the report in short. The full report is everything behind that: each finding with what it means and where it was found, the libraries and SDKs with their versions, the hosts the app names, its manifest and signing, what changed since the version before, and the report as PDF, JSON and CSV.
What happens when I reach the limit?
On Free, 3 full reports open in a calendar month; a report you opened stays open, and opening it again does not count. When all 3 are open, the cards stay and the site says so until the 1st. Checking apps is free, up to 100 a day. The ceiling is there against abuse; if you need more, write to us.
How long are my files kept?
The report stays for good. The APK file itself is kept only for what needs the bytes - reading it again, decompiling your own builds on Team and Business - for days or months, by plan. Your vault - from Pro up, and with the 7-day pass - keeps the versions you choose for as long as you have the plan, and 30 days after it ends; after a pass, 7 days.
Vault or a backup file?
Both are a backup of your own apps, to put them back on your phone or on a new one. The backup file is written to your own computer by the browser, or to the phone by the app, free on every plan. The vault keeps the files with the site, so they are there from any computer, and restores to any phone you connect.
Do you see my data?
No. An APK is the same file for everyone with that version of the app; it carries none of your messages, photos, accounts or app data, and the phone is only read. What the site keeps about you is on the privacy page.
Invoices and VAT
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: it sells you the plan, charges the VAT of your country and issues the invoice. Every price shown includes VAT; a business with an EU VAT number enters it at checkout and pays no VAT (reverse charge). Until card payments open nothing is charged.
